Another busy and successful half term at Talygarn Equestrian Centre, so much to do in on week. Polocrosse lessons took place on tuesday followed by a practice for the walk vaulting team. Wednesday was another very busy team show jumping day with 29 teams taking part. Millbrook Riding Club won the first class and then Talygarn did amazingly well winning the remaining 4 classes. Thursday brought quite a busy Riding School show jumping competition. The rain was really bad at the start of the day but did clear up as the day went on. Friday we had vaulting lessons in the morning and a busy pony day all day. We also had the usual riding lessons all week and at the end of the week Steve and I went to a very interesting and informative vaulting conference in Yorkshire. The Pony Club Area quiz was held on saturday in Bridgend. Two teams representing Talygarn took part and they took 1st place and 4th place – the winners will go to the National Quiz finals in Warwickshire towards the end of March. The next holiday programme for the Easter Holidays will be out soon.
