First Fall
Today my daughter Amelia was teaching a level 1 lesson where the kids dont yet canter. One of the ponies was rather naughty bucked several times and took off in canter and the child – Callum fell off. His mum who was watching was a bit alarmed and screamed.I received this e mail from them this evening and just had to post it on the blog
Hi Callum and mum hear just to let Emilia know that i am fine a bruised hip and knee, i am a strange boy and i enjoyed the fast ride and the fall, i always enjoy new experiences and have the need for speed. my poor overreacting mum on the other hand cant cope with that or me come to think of it,my mum sends her deepest apologies for screaming like a mad woman [even though she is a bit crazy] we are both fully aware that horses can be unpredictable just like men, my mums only regrets is that I’m talking even more,
What i really want to say is i enjoyed today MY FIRST FALL and your first fall as a teacher its not put me off in the slightest hope your OK ‘
Your obviously a great kid Callum and you’ll go a long way, you gotta be brave to ride, most ponies are very good but they can be a bit awkward sometimes.
