Phoebe

Phoebe can be a star and also an embarrassment as Freya found out today. There was show jumping at Sunnybank and Freya was excited about taking Phoebe. Freya washed her legs and tail yesterday and today we put her on the box with Destiny to go to the show. When we arrived we went to enter the class and Freya walked the course. Freya, Jodie and Amelia then went to get her off the lorry and tack her up. Whilst putting the bridle on Phoebe got impatient and decided to go, Jodie and Freya were trying to hang on to her to stop her going but as she picked up more speed they were skiing whilst she dragged them along, she headed straight at Amelia who tried to step in her path but Phoebe swerved right and freya and Jodie lost their grip as she flung them to the side they landed on their bums at Amelia’s feet and went skidding across the car park. Steve and I were just coming around the corner when we spotted Phoebe galloping towards us with her bridle around her neck and legs. After catching her and putting Destiny’s bridle on to replace her now broken one Freya jumped her in the 2′3 and came 5th and the 2′6 and came 3rd. I think Freya has forgiven her now. Amelia jumped Destiny in the 3′ and came 2nd.

Blogs will probably be few and far between for the next few weeks as I am going to Thailand tonight for 3 weeks (don’t ring me!!) I will try and find internet access and write a few from Thailand. Maybe on schooling an elephant, if I get chance to ride one!!!!!!! and I’m sure you’ll want here how the weather is
