Show Jumping
Well today saw another Show jumping competition for the riding school clients, unfortunately not as busy as it sometimes is as a lot are away on holidays. It took as long as usual though as the staff and helpers seemed to be in a rather laid back mood, obviously no sense of urgency. The show jumping is a popular competition for kids to pick a pony (with a little guidance as some seem to have high expectations of what they can ride) and enter a competition and maybe win a rosette. No one fell off today except Leigh (staff) who managed to catapult through the air and land on his feet, yet again. He is willing to give lessons on that technique. The bareback jumping is always fun but I really think more adults should give it a go. Any thoughts or ideas on the day let me know.
